The video
"Tango: Southern California Rock Band 1971-74" was put together
by Mark Guerrero and a videographer in the '90s. It's made
up of Super 8 video footage taken during the 1971-74 period when
Mark was a solo artist on Capitol Records and his band Tango was
on A&M Records. The 1971 and early '72 footage was from
before either record deal. The music bed on the video is
the music recorded in the period. The musicians on all the
recordings are the same. During the Capitol time they were
backing Mark on the sessions. When recording for A&M it
was a band concept.
Musicians: Mark
Guerrero (lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar, piano, and mellotron), John Valenzuela (lead guitar, backing vocals), Rick Rosas (bass), Ernie Hernandez
