Mark Guerrero with The
Reckless Night Ensemble
Tribute to Lalo Guerrero
Wang's of the Desert
Palm Springs, California
January 29, 2020
This show was put together by Skip Heller, who transcribed
my dad's music from the original records.
He invited me to be part of the show which consisted of two
sets of Lalo Guerrero music covering many genres, including
rock, blues, swing, bolero, cha cha, Tex Mex, calypso, and
comedy. I sang five of my dad's songs and was part of
the finale. Videographer Tony Reyes shot the show with
two cameras and put these videos together. The first
video below has highlights of the show with an interview
with Skip Heller. The second video has highlights of
my part of the show with an interview with me. VIva
